Ashtanga Yoga Hastings invites …

A weekend immersion on the Sussex coast with senior teachers Jess Glenny and Andy Gill

This weekend is an opportunity to deepen your practice experience and hone your ashtanga skills within a wider community of ashtanga practitioners, guided by two very experienced ashtanga teachers.

 

As well as two morning Mysore practices, the weekend will include two 90-minute workshops, a still yoga practice and a guided walk in the beautiful Hastings country park. For those who would like to eat together, there will also be a group dinner on Saturday night. Everything in this immersion is offered on an invitation basis, and you are welcome to opt in and out as you choose.

 

Jess and Andy have known and worked with one another for over 10 years and are excited to be co-creating this opportunity for our ashtanga communities to come together. We hope you will enjoy meeting each other, have some great conversations, and come away with not only an enhanced practice but also some new yoga friends.

 

The weekend is suitable for those with at least six months of Mysore-style ashtanga practice. It is not suitable for ashtanga beginners or those who have done only  ashtanga led classes. Please note that you need six months experience of ashtanga vinyasa, not generic yoga.

12.30–2pm: Back bending workshop with Jess

2–3pm: Break

3–5pm: Country Park walk

5–7pm: Free
7pm: Dinner (optional) 

 

SUNDAY

9.30–11.30am: Mysore practice with Jess and Andy

11:30am–12.30pm: Break

12:30–2pm: Breath, bandha and mudra workshop with Andy

2–5pm: Break

3.30–5pm: Still yoga with Jess

Venue: The Wellington Centre, 44 Wellington Square, Hastings. TN34 1PN.

Cost: £125 / £110 early bird by 30 June. The fee covers tuition costs. Travel, accommodation and the Saturday night dinner are not included. We can help you to arrange accommodation in Hastings – there are lots of AirBnB options.
