This is how I am ensuring that classes and one-to-one sessions are as low risk as possible for covid-19 infection.

Yoga therapy and one-to-one therapeutic dance sessions

  • In-person sessions are limited to a maximum of two per day.

  • The shiatsu mat is covered with a sheet which is changed and laundered after each session. The mat is spray disinfected.

  • All my clothes are changed and laundered after each session.

  • Soft props such as cushions and bolsters are covered with a fleece blanket which is changed and laundered after each session.

  • Yoga belts are laundered after each session.

  • Hard props are cleaned in hot soapy water after each session.

  • Hard surfaces that may have been touched (door handles, light switches, bathroom taps, etc.) are spray disinfected after each session.

  • Soap and water and a clean towel, and hand sanitiser are available for clients. I wash my hands with soap and water before and after each session.

  • You do not have to wear a mask; however you can if you like. Please let me know when you book your session whether you would like me to wear a mask.

Dancing in the Urban Wild

  • Numbers at dances are limited to 15 (plus two crew).

  • Everyone must book and pay in advance using the existing booking system.

  • Two-metre distancing is observed at all times, and dancers are asked to avoid greeting each other by hugging or other physical contact.

  • Headphones are sanitised prior to and after use. No one may handle another dancer’s headphones, and each dancer must place their own headphones back in the bag at the end of the dance.

  • Hand sanitiser is provided as needed.

  • Masks are currently not recommended for exercise (as there is a question mark over their safety during heavy breathing) and dancers are not required to wear one; however, you are welcome to wear a mask if you prefer.

  • Dances continue on the basis that participants are observing distancing guidelines.
