This is a physically challenging class – you will work hard and sweat. It is suitable for people with some ashtanga experience and for ashtanga beginners who are already fit and who have no current injuries or conditions. We work through sequences of postures from the primary series of ashtanga vinyasa.

(If you are not fit and do have injuries / conditions, you are welcome to come to Mysore-style ashtanga, where we can work with you individually and at your own pace to create a strong, sustainable practice. See the schedule for details.)

Ashtanga teaching includes some hands-on adjustment of the body. If this is not OK for you, please let me know by email or at the class.
