Ashtanga vinyasa is a vigorous, energising form of yoga in which you move dynamically on your breath. Expect to work hard and sweat. The practice consists of a series of linked postures offering the opportunity to cultivate strength, stamina and flexibility, together with awareness of your physical, emotional and mental experience on your mat. Through being present in this way over time, you begin to recalibrate mental and physical patterns, enabling you to be human in a kinder and more functional way.

ashtanga teaching includes some hands-on adjustment of the body. If this is not OK for you, please let me know by email or at the class.
